Created a series of promotional materials for a performance concert showcasing the “World of Beauty” in Ryukyuan classical performing arts, as realized by Masaya Yamauchi, a holder of the Important Intangible Cultural Property “Ryukyuan Dance (Song and Sanshin)” designated by the Japanese government.
While traditional Ryukyuan classical performances typically feature multiple performers, Yamauchi established a unique style that strips the form down to its essence: one musician and one dancer, pursuing the purest expression of beauty.
To embody the spirit of the performance, the design prominently features a beautiful promotional photograph of Ryukyuan dancer Ayano Nishimura, presented in a fully minimalist layout with no superfluous elements.

Since the performance was to be held in Tokyo, far from Okinawa, at a venue that houses a Noh theater, a discreet explanatory text was included, tracing the history of Okinawan classical arts and the significance behind this concert. - Program Booklet:
The lyrics written in Ryuka (Okinawan poetry) and the distinct pronunciation of the Ryukyuan language are vital elements in expressing the world of beauty.
To deepen the audience’s understanding, the lyrics for each performance were printed with furigana (phonetic guides) and accompanied by easy-to-read translations in a clear and accessible layout.

国指定重要無形文化財「琉球舞踊」（歌三線）保持者である山内 昌也氏が辿り着いた琉球古典芸能「美の世界」の演奏会広報物連作を制作。
本来、琉球古典芸能の舞台は複数の演者によるものがほとんどだが、山内氏は「奏者一人に舞い手一人」という、極限までその身を削ぎ落とした編成で、美の真髄に迫るスタイルを確立した。
演奏会の世界観を体現すべく、琉球舞踊家の西村 綾乃氏の美しい宣材写真を全面にフィーチャーし、一切の無駄がないミニマルなデザインとした。
デザインコンセプトは以下の通り。
- フライヤー：沖縄から遠く離れた東京の地、能楽堂を擁する会場での披露となるため、沖縄古典芸能の歴史から、本演奏会に至るまで、そしてそこに込められた想いをさり気なく説明文として配した。
- プログラム：琉歌による歌詞も、日本語とは異なる琉球語の発音も、美の世界を表すための重要な要素である。これらを深く観客に知ってもらうため、全ての演目にルビ付きの歌詞を掲載し、対訳も含めて読み込みやすいレイアウトとした。
